Kingston Little League (KLL)
Kingston Little League or KLL as it is normally referred to, provides football for children, both girls and boys (from ages 5-15 years). It is open to all children regardless of ability, and while it is competitive, the KLL ethos is ‘sportsmanship, friendship and fun’ and its motto is "Where Winning Isn't Everything."
In addition KLL provides opportunities for teenagers to train as FA coaches and referees and also has provided support to students who are working to attain their Duke of Edinburgh Awards by voluteering to work with young footballers on Friday evenings at Tiffin Girls School.
Currently girls are playing in mixed teams and they would like to encourage more girls to play so that they can have a number of girls only teams.
They play on the Rec on Saturday mornings during the Autumn and Winter term times between 9AM and 1PM. Check out their website for more details, how to join and to find out more of what they do at:
Kingston Horticultural Society (KHS)
KHS is a local group based at the allotments at the far end of Park Road (adjacent to Forward House). We are a small, friendly group for people who enjoy gardens, allotments and gardening. We organise a number of outings and talks throughout the year and we have an annual plant sale, summer show and charity day. Further details on the KHS website or come and join us for coffee on a Sunday morning at 11am.
