LATCHMERE JUNIOR PARKRUN Starting Sunday November 28th 2021 at 9.00am

FoLaR secured CIL funding from The Council to set up a junior parkrun.

What is Latchmere Rec junior parkrun?

It is a 2k event for juniors only (4-14 year olds). If you are not a junior please try one of our weekly Saturday parkrun events instead.

When is it?

It is held every Sunday at 9:00am.

Where is it?

The event takes place at Latchmere Recreation Ground, Latchmere Road, Kingston, KT2 5TT. See Course page for more details.

What does it cost to join in?

Nothing - it's free! but please register before your first visit. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder).

How fast do I have to be?

The aim is to have fun. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!

KLL provides football for children, both girls and boys (from ages 5-15 years). It is open to all children regardless of ability, and while it is competitive, the KLL ethos is ‘sportsmanship, friendship and fun’ and its motto is "Where Winning Isn't Everything."

In addition KLL provides opportunities for teenagers to train as FA coaches and referees and also has provided support to students who are working to attain their Duke of Edinburgh Awards by volunteering to work with young footballers on Friday evenings at Tiffin Girls School.

Currently girls are playing in mixed teams and they would like to encourage more girls to play so that they can have a number of girls only teams.

They play on the Rec on Saturday mornings during the Autumn and Winter term times between 9AM and 1PM.
